Harold and Maude

Oh my god- I saw Harold and Maude for the first time this weekend. It's sooooo good! I can't believe i'd never seen it before. The Cat Stevens soundtrack made me a bit weepy (my mum used to play Cat Stevens to me when I was a baby) and the end was so sad...but kind of bittersweet. It seems stupid writing anything about this film because everybodies seen it already and it's amazing.

This weekend I also watched: Art School Confidential (I was thinking it was going to be some kind of Ghost World sequel. It was pretty crappy really. Could have been a lot darker. Amazing cameo from L Word's Shane though <3 ) Running With Scissors (Really good. The opening scene is one of my favourite film openings ever! The films narrative structure is a bit wobbly and there are long stretches of dull but it's beautifully shot and the characters are all fascinating.) Easter Parade (of course!) and Toy Story 2.

We are Bis from Glasgow Scotland

The Bis gig was amazing! I've never seen them before and never thought I would see them (they were along side Kenickie and Pulp as my unrequited gig musts.) They are all so sweet and were really enjoying themselves. Highlights include: Sweet Shop Avengers, Tell it to the Kids, Everybody thinks that they're ging to get theirs, Secret Vampires, This is fake D-I-Y and my favourite was Manda screaming 'Kill Yr Boyfriend.' Lots of energy and happy happy Bis members and fans alike (plus £1 7"s on the merch stand. Winner.)
